Perfect Pancake Day

The Prep School ended last half term with the annual Inter-House Pancake Race, one of our favourite House events.
The House Captains gathered the members of their Houses around the edge of one of the netball courts on Prep playground ready to cheer on their Housemates.
The race was run as a relay with each year group flipping the pancakes in line with the year group they are in. We began with Year 6 girls each flipping 6 times and finished with Year 1 flipping a single time. Everyone in the Prep Department took part and enjoyed the competitive element of the race. The cheering helped everyone to do their best to add to the points for their Houses.
Once everyone had taken part the points were added up and the winning House was announced. Our congratulations to Frank House on their success.
Frank House Captains, Alya and Liyana, enjoyed receiving the trophy in our first Celebration Assembly of the new half term.
