Macbeth Magic

Year 6 took part in an English Masterclass with Ms Jones-Owen, who is Head of Year 7 and an English teacher in Senior School, as part of their secondary school preparation.
The session built upon what has been already learnt in English lessons on Shakespeare’s Macbeth and enabled Key Stage Two and Key Stage Three to seamlessly curriculum map, ready to revisit the play in Year 7.
Pupils developed their critical thinking of the rhythm, language features and punctuation used in the play along with using their teamwork and directing skills while performing the opening scene from Macbeth.
