In the Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Preparatory | Senior School | Sixth Form

27 October 2023

The EHS community of pupils and staff from Nursery to Year 13 recently came together to show their support of Breast Cancer Awareness with our annual Pink Days.

In the Prep School there was a rosy glow as girls from Nursery to Year 6 joined in with ‘Wear it Pink’ on 20 October.  Our Charity Champions, Ava and Zahra, led an assembly to explain more about the work of the charity we were supporting.  Girls were encouraged to wear as much pink as they could and they certainly rose to the challenge!

A few days later it was the turn of Senior School. Everyone rocked their pink outfits with flair, bringing a fun and lively vibe to the school. From cowboy hats to heart-shaped glasses, the creative outfits were a hit, with both students and staff getting into the spirit: a particular shout out should go to Mrs Coley's splendid jacket and Ms Wood's sparkly leggings.

Most importantly, we raised a lot of money for breast cancer awareness, showing that when we come together, we can make a real difference. These were two special days that left us feeling proud of the EHS community's support for this important cause. We look forward to hearing how much we managed to raise!
