Enriching the Maths Curriculum

Year 5 recently took part in an NRich Live Maths webinar run by University of Cambridge. This helped to get Maths Week England off to a flying start!
The girls were working with over 275 schools across the globe, potentially working with in excess of 6,000 classmates aged 9 to 13! They tackled a series of mathematical problems that really got the brain cells ticking and the girls thoroughly enjoyed such a different lesson.
Developing mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills are really important and are a focus of the Mathematics curriculum in the Prep School.
