Diva Night 2022: The Countdown Begins

Students from the Senior School have started their rehearsals for Diva Night. This showstopping spectacular will feature many pieces from popular musicals from Broadway, West End, Disney and contemporary shows. In our Monday evening rehearsals, we have been focusing on three large ensemble works so far, Waterloo from Mamma Mia, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and The Circle of Life from the Lion King.
As vocal rehearsals are now in full swing, students from other departments are starting to work on the artwork for the showcase, from posters and tickets to the table menus and rehearsal pictures. The tech team and food and nutrition students will also be commencing work shortly.
Diva Night tickets will go on sale in the new year and the performance (February 2022) will include musical items from The Light in the Piazza, High Society, Sister Act, Mamma Mia, Beauty and the Beast, Chicago, Into The Woods and many more, supported by orchestral accompaniment. These performances will accompany a sumptuous three course meal for all guests (menu choices to follow).
