Dancers Put Best Foot Foward

On Thursday, 43 students, from Year 7 through to Year 13, attended a Dance Careers Hub hosted by The Black Country Dance Hub at the University of Wolverhampton. The students were extremely excited to put their best foot forward for an intensive day of dance.
The session started with a market place event where they were able to go and talk with representatives from dance colleges, companies and universities such as De Montfort and Linden Dance. The students were engaged and asked interesting questions to the vendors, which they were complimented on.
The rest of the day consisted of a number of practical workshops in a variety of Dance styles. This saw the students perform in street, contemporary and afro-fusion styles. Some of the choreography was quite difficult but they approached it with enthusiasm and positivity!
The students were complimented on their discipline, behaviour and they represented EHS well. We are already excited for next year's event!
