A Recital from Senior Musician of the Year

We were treated to an afternoon of musical excellence when Year 10 pupil Charis, winner of the 2022 EHS Senior School Musician of the Year competition, gave a recital in the Octagon.
Charis performed with incredible flair and composure, and we send our warmest congratulations to her. We would like to extend our thanks to Zoha S (flute), Shanya K (violin), Samara K (harp) and Gracie R (viola) as well as to our guest performers from the Birmingham Conservatoire, Shuyi Danneil (violin), Yupeng Cai (viola) and Kamo Maraba (cello).
As part of her Musician of the Year prize, Charis will also have the opportunity to appear as a soloist at Birmingham Town Hall in 2023.
