More accolades for sporting star Asmita

Year 11 student Asmita was awarded our Autumn Term Sporting Star Award at the end of last term and her prowess on the badminton courts out of school continue to go from strength to strength.
She has already had a busy start to 2018, competing in some top level tournaments. Asmita recently took part in the U17 Redbridge Gold and U19 Derbyshire Gold Badminton tournaments winning the women’s doubles at Redbridge and then reaching the final of the mixed doubles and the semi-finals of the women’s doubles in Derbyshire.
