The girls in Reception experience a range of different activities every week in addition to their classroom studies.

Last Friday they were busy outdoors collecting the leaves with the gardeners, using our own wheelbarrows and rakes. In Mathematics, they made dough cakes and decorated them with various 'toppings'.  They counted the different types of decorations then recorded how many they had altogether.  

They have also been tasting different foods to see what they liked or disliked. The girls thought the sour lemon tasting was the best as it made them pull funny faces!  
Sophie's colouring picture in R5 was 'Picture of the Week' as she spent a great deal of time colouring in the lines!
