Year 4 Visit St George's Church

At the end of last week Year 4 visited St George’s Church, near school, as part of their RE syllabus.
This year’s visit was extra special as the vicar joined the girls, along with two of the churchwardens. This meant that the girls had an access-all-areas pass to the
Church.
Year 4 girls were invited to see where the sacrament was kept between services and allowed to explore the magnificent altar in all its splendour.
During the visit, the girls had to identify specific features, construct a plan and answer questions about the history of St George’s Church.
Everyone, including the staff at St George’s thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
