Year 13’s Festive Adventure

This past week, Year 13 were treated to an enchanting overnight Christmas trip to the heart of London. We arrived in London in the afternoon and were able to spend our free time exploring the multitude of shops and restaurants around Covent Garden, and admiring the festive decorations.
After checking into our hotel, we all got a good night’s sleep to recharge for the next day. After a beautiful, scenic walk through central London, we arrived at Hyde Park’s magical Winter Wonderland. Here we rode the iconic ferris wheel and got incredible panaromic views of London, after which we spent the rest of the morning going on rides and trying a diverse range of food.
We then had some time for shopping and buying Christmas presents before heading to the Dominion Theatre for the West End production of Elf, which definitely got us all into the festive spirit before coming home.
On behalf of all of Year 13 we would like to thank the staff that organised and supervised the trip, where we made many memories and managed to conclude our last ever Christmas term at EHS in style.
