After joining in with World Nursery Rhyme Week last week, which you can read about in the accompanying article, girls in Nursery focused on colours this week. They enjoyed activities to support their gold and silver theme. They also enjoyed looking at how much the tomato plants they had grown during red week, earlier in the term, had grown.
Kindergarten girls have been reading their books and have focused on the c sound this week. They have been thinking about words that begin with c and writing them too.
In Reception, girls have been combining two groups together in Mathematics to make a total. (playdough cakes & worksheet). They have made egg characters to support their phonic work and in Creative writing have written about Spot's first picnic. In French they have made some Christmas cards and wish everyone a Joyeux Noel!
