Talent Turns Out for Children in Need

Senior School | Sixth Form

25 November 2022

After an absence of three long years, everyone in the Senior School was delighted to finally welcome back the Children in Need Talent Show! The Octagon filled up quickly and the judges took their seats to watch the variety of acts on offer.

The crowds were treated to an exciting programme: Layla in Year 10 singing an enchanting rendition of Sky Fall, followed by Year 11s dancing to a Pitbull medley kickstarting the party. Annie and Layla in Year 8 took to the stage performing beautiful ballet, Sofia in Year 10 blew us all away with her animal impressions, the Year 8 band 'Soon to be Famous Five' melted our hearts with their version of a love song and the show was closed by Year 9’s street dance, getting us ready for the weekend!

The Octagon roof almost blew off with everyone cheering and chanting for their friends and fellow peers.

Whilst the judges were deliberating, The Soul Sisters entertained the crowds. This was a huge come back for Indira and Davina, the legendary duo who haven't performed at EHS for a long time!

After much deliberation from the judges it was Sofia who took the win with her animal impressions and 'Soon to be Famous Five' were announced as runners up. Congratulations to the girls!

A special thanks to our presenting trio Amelia, Harleen and Davina, the SIxth Form charity reps, who lead the show with ease and style. And as always, the show would not have been possible without the amazing Tech Crew! Thank you!

In total we raised a fantastic £418.27! Fabulous work everyone. Here's to next year!
