Spring Has Sprung!
Year 2 girls were certainly filled with the joys of spring this week as everyone returned to learning in the classroom.
They also focused on the change of season for a number of their lessons this week as they explored the signs of spring around them.
In Art they sketched flowers using pastels and then, in Science, they dissected the flowers to learn about the separate parts.
The next step was to represent the beautiful flowers in words as they composed some Japanese Haiku poems. They enjoyed working within the set structure of this form of poetry.
