Sportswomen encouraged to 'Discover your gold'

Calling all Senior School athletes! Do you aspire to represent Great Britain at the next Olympic Games in 2020? Did you watch the Winter Olympics and wonder how British athletes get involved in these sports? Are you a talented sportswoman but don’t which sport is the right one for you?
If you answered ‘Yes’ to any of these questions then ‘Discover Your Gold’ is for you.
What is Discover Your Gold?
Discover Your Gold is a partnership between UK Sport, the English Institute of Sport (EIS), and a range of national governing bodies, targeting athletes aged 15+ to be
fast-tracked into the exciting world of high-performance sport.
How can pupils get involved?
For more information about the campaign, the sign-up criteria for each sport and the application form please visit www.uksport.gov.uk/talent. Sign-up will remain open until
the end of April.
