Senior School sports round up
11 October 2019
Last week was very busy for our sporting teams, with numerous girls representing the school in a range of sports.
Both our junior and inter swim teams competed in the first round of the English Schools Swimming Associations (ESSA) West Midlands event. Our junior team travelled to Malvern College on Tuesday and they finished 2nd and 4th in their respective events. On Friday, the inter team travelled to Bromsgrove School finishing in 3rd place overall. Qualification for the national finals is decided by looking at the the top times across the country and we wait in anticipation for the shortlisted teams to be announced.
At the weekend, our U13 hockey team travelled to Bromsgrove School for a tournament, competing against various independent schools. The team played really well throughout the meet, with very close games against Princethorpe, Kings High Warwick and Kings Worcester. Our goal keeper, Siena Henry played some outstanding games throughout. The team should be commended on their performance; they showed great resilience over the course of the competition and never gave up.
Well done, girls!
