Senior musicians showcase talent

Senior School musicians performed solo and duet items at an informal Tea Time concert on Wednesday 5 February. As always with these events, girls are encouraged to perform any pieces that they are currently working on in their instrumental lessons. There were a range of musical styles on show including a number of students performing on their instrument for the first time.
It was another enjoyable display of talent and accomplishment, and I would like to thank the following students for their performances: Tania Awan, Elin Payne, Isobel Parkes, Lucie Carey, Angel Hiller, Anoukh Deau, Caitlin Kisumba, Madeleine Carey, Katya Wrigley, Gracie Roberts, Shanya Kulatunge and Samara Kulatunge.
I would also like to thank the staff of the Music Department for assisting in preparing the girls for their performance, and for their assistance during the event. We were delighted that Mrs Carey (EHS parent) could join us to accompany a number of students on the piano.
