Year 1 girls recently entertained their parents in an assembly which demonstrated their knowledge of the human body which they have been studying in Science this term.
This week they extended their knowledge further with a successful trip to Birmingham ThinkTank museum which they thoroughly enjoyed. They were as inquisitive as ever, eager to learn about all manner of scientific ideas and inventions.
The girls were thoroughly engaged throughout the day, exploring the exhibition halls, during a lesson about their bodies and out in the playground. They asked and answered questions, confidently putting forward their own ideas and theories.
The day provided them with a fantastic opportunity for exploration and hands-on learning.
