Following the poetry trail

In celebration of National Poetry Day 2018, Year 7 were invited to take part in a lunchtime poetry trail starting in the library. Poems such as Shakespeare’s ‘Sonnet 130’, Wordsworth’s ‘Daffodils’ and Lear’s ‘The Owl and the Pussycat’, were placed around the school and teams were challenged to locate the poems, collect clues and race back to the library with their completed quiz sheets!
