Onatti Theatre presents 'Primera Cita'

On Wednesday 20 November 2019, girls learning Spanish from Years 8 to 13 had the opportunity to see ‘Primera Cita’, a play in Spanish performed by native actors from the Gloucestershire-based theatre Onatti. ‘Primera Cita’ was an entertaining play in which a teenage boy and girl experience the nerves of getting ready for their first date. The unexpected outcome provided some entertaining moments.
The play was hugely enjoyable, and it provided all girls with a valuable opportunity to develop their listening skills at the same time as widen their Spanish vocabulary.
On behalf of the MFL department, I would like to thank all girls involved for their enthusiasm. In particular, Natasha Mkosana (9G) and Angel Hiller (9G) demonstrated a real flair for performance as they were asked by the actors to cooperate for part of the play. A very special thank you must go to the staff who gave up their time to supervise the play. Overall, all girls responded very well and helped make this once more a very rewarding experience.
