Old Girl delivers property and surveyance careers talk

Senior School | Sixth Form

22 November 2019

Recently, we were delighted to welcome back Bethany, who left EHS in 2015, to deliver a talk and Q and A session on her career, studying at university and the graduate scheme at Colliers International as a property surveyor.

She was joined by two colleagues, Joe and Harj, who also discussed their careers and the variety of roles available within a large organisation such as Colliers International. They offered advice regarding work experience and how to pursue careers in this area as well as discussing the university and apprenticeship routes into this industry. They also brought useful resources about how to become a leading professional in land, property and construction industries.

The event was well attended by girls from Year 9 through to Year 13. It was a very enjoyable talk and they all gained a valuable insight into careers related to Geography and Business.

The careers programme covers a wide variety of academic pathways and we are always keen for our alumnae and/or parents to become involved by giving a talk, offering work experience or mentoring. If you would like to get involved please email the school in the first instance ( enquiries@edgbastonhigh.co.uk ) and Mrs Shutt, Head of Careers will be in touch.
