Mrs Coulson was gardening in the half term holiday and found some snails!
She brought these into school to show the girls. This gave the girls the opportunity to look at the snail trails. After studying the shells carefully, they drew the spiral shape on large paper.
They also used spiral swiss roll cake and a biscuit to make a snail to take home.
After their study of the creatures the girls released them - but not back into Mrs Coulson’s garden!
