Live Sport Experience for Year 3

Sport and physical education is very important in the Prep School with the girls given as many opportunities as possible to experience taking part in and observing live sport.

During this year the girls have learnt skills in lessons in cricket, netball, hockey, athletics, basketball, fitness, gymnastics, yoga and swimming. In addition co-curricular opportunities have given the opportunity to experience fencing, karate and dance in a variety of styles.

This week has been no exception and Year 3 have enjoyed a world class day at The Rothesay Classic at Edgbaston Priory Club. They were inspired by the singles and doubles action on both the Centre Court and surrounding courts.

They also put their own skills to the test in the Schools’ Zone with a variety of games which tested their hand-eye coordination and movement skills.
