Freya's fundraising feats
19 October 2017
Year 9 pupil Freya Arden is organising several charity events in school in aid of ‘Goa Outreach’, an Indian charity that supports children in slums and orphanages.
Freya hopes to raise money for the charity through a variety of activities including holding a Dunkin Donut sale, offering games at the forthcoming Christmas Fair and manning a stand at the school’s performances of Phantom of the Opera.
Goa Outreach is a registered charity that helps get children into schools and assists with maintaining their education. They also provide street and slum children with essential medicine and monthly health packs.
Freya will travel to Goa in December and we hope that she will have raised enough money to make a real difference to the charity. There will be further updates and reminders about the fundraising events coming soon. In the meantime, questions can be directed to Freya.
Thank you for your support.
