Esme Makes County Debut

Esme made her county hockey debut for Warwickshire Under 13s on Sunday. Over the past couple of months the goalkeeper, a pupil in Year 8, has successfully navigated district and country trials to be selected for the final squad.
She played in a dominant team who won five games and drew one as the Warwickshire squad won a tournament in Cannock against Staffordshire, Shropshire and Nottinghamshire. Esme enjoyed the tournament, conceding only three goals across the six matches, and is looking forward to further county training and matches later this term.
