Literature was brought to life last week when the Drama department organised a trip for Year 13 Drama and English Literature students to London to see 'The Enemy of the People' at the Duke of York Theatre, featuring the renowned actor Matt Smith.

Despite the rain and enduring a rather damp journey to the theatre, spirits remained high! The performance was excellent, and a great opportunity for us to see a contemporary adaptation of Ibsen's famous classic.

The trip provided a valuable opportunity for students to engage with literature in a live setting and certainly sparked lots of reflection and discussion on the way home.
