Cross Country Champions

On Friday 17 March, EHS Prep had great success at Hallfield’s Schools Cross Country Race 2023.
Twelve EHS girls did a sterling job of representing school across two teams. Walking the course, prior to competing enabled the runners to assess the terrain, workout which muddy puddles to avoid and identify the most challenging points of the route. Any nerves at the start line were overcome with each step of the race.
We were extremely proud of our Year 3 and 4 girls who powered through their 1.2km race. They were followed by our experienced Year 5 and 6 girls, most having competed last year, who took the competition by storm, finishing their 2.4km in an impressive 1st, 2nd and 3rd place enabling EHS to win the Year 5 and 6 Team event.
The afternoon blessed us with sunshine and smiles. We even managed to capture the rainbow in the distance to make it an even more memorable occasion for our runners. Well done, Team EHS!
