Creativity in Full Flow

Creativity was in full flow this week when we welcomed artist Anita Roye to the Art department. Anita is an abstract landscape artist and came into school to talk to students in Year 12 about her career and to carry out a practical workshop with them.
Year 12 have been working on their own abstracted landscape paintings in lessons and enjoyed discussing their individual pieces with Anita during the workshop. Students
explored expressive mark making, using a range of tools and implements to create gestural marks on the surface of the paper.
