Christmas Celebrations Begin With Guitar Ensemble

It has become customary in the Prep School that we begin the festive season with our annual Guitar Ensemble Assembly and this year was no different.
On Wednesday morning an audience of parents, girls and staff gathered in Prep Hall to be taken on a musical journey through the Christmas story. There were also a number of popular seasonal songs, including ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer’.
The guitarists, made up of girls from across Key Stage 2, in Years 3-6, played some of the pieces together and then there were solo and duet performances. The girls all played confidently and the audience enjoyed joining in with the songs.
This was a most enjoyable way to start the day for everyone.
