Christmas Around the World

Preparatory

08 December 2023

On Wednesday afternoon the parents and friends of girls in Years 1 and 2 gathered in the Octagon for a Christmas journey round the world.

Santa’s elves had loaded the sleigh ready for the journey but it was nearly a disaster as Rudolph had a cold and was not feeling well enough to pull Santa’s sleigh on his own. Fortunately Ralph the reindeer turned up looking for a job and so was able to help.

Santa and Mrs Claus visited countries all around the world delivering gifts. They stopped at Poland, China, Australia and Ireland.  At each country the children shared facts about the traditions there.

The children had clearly worked very hard as the singing, acting and performing were excellent and all with faces full of smiles.

We are grateful to the children and staff who had all given their best efforts to entertain the audience.
