Calling all knitters from Beginners to Experts!

We would like our EHS school community to join other knitters from across the country in supporting ‘The Big Knit’ campaign in support of Age UK.
This project is in partnership with innocent drinks, where supporters knit little hats to go on top of innocent smoothie bottles. These will appear in shops next year and the company pays 25p to Age UK for each bottle sold.
The money raised will help provide practical and emotional support for older people in our local area.
We are inviting pupils, parents, grandparents and any family friends to get knitting. This may be an opportunity to learn a new skill or to put already developed talents to good use.

We hope you will be keen to get started and will add to the collection already started by Mrs Hartley in Prep. We would also ask you to let us know how you are getting on by emailing any pictures to Mrs Hartley at hartleys@edgbastonhigh.co.uk
This weekend is a good opportunity to start knitting, a perfect activity for the cold weather!
