Biathlon joy for Jemima

At the weekend, Year 9 pupil Jemima competed at the British Biathlon Championships which were held at the Harvey Hadden Sports Centre in Nottingham. It was a very accomplished show from Jemima who got close to her personal best times in both of her events, coming 17th in the swim and 21st in the 1,600m run.
Jemima said: “It was a very daunting experience competing with the country’s elite runners and swimmers, and nerves definitely played a part! I thoroughly enjoyed it.”
Well done, Jemima, you have done EHS proud once again.
