Biathlon championships for Jemima

Year 8 pupil Jemima took part in the British Schools Biathlon Championships at Crystal Palace on Saturday 16 March.
The swim was first, and she was delighted with a personal best time of 1.09.16 (long course) for the 100m freestyle event. Despite cold, windy and wet weather, and very little time between events, she managed to almost equal her PB with a time of 6.53 for the 1600m. She had been working on her sprint and so was very pleased to give a good sprint finish at the close of the race.
