Author visit a hit

On Wednesday 13 March, a group of Year 9 girls, escorted by Ms Jones-Owen and Ms O'Hare went to King Edward VI Camp Hill Boys School to listen to a talk given by author Holly Bourne.
Holly is currently touring schools, talking to young people about the importance of empathy and removing the stigma surrounding mental health. Holly also talked about her most recent book, ‘Are we all lemmings and snowflakes?’ which deals with mental health, school life and relationships.
Girls also had the chance to ask questions during a Q & A session, to meet the author and to get that all important photograph!
