A sporting start to the year

With girls returning to training last week after the Christmas holidays, this week has seen our Year 8 pupils play in both netball and hockey matches. Travelling to King Edwards Five Ways School on Tuesday evening, our Year 8 A & B teams were excited and motivated for their first match of 2020.
Both teams played incredibly well but unfortunately we conceded two late goals in the final minute of the game. Our A team lost 5-3 and our B team won 2-1. The following day, our Year 8B team travelled to Lordswood School to play in the Kings Norton League Match.
Meanwhile, at EHS, we were delighted to welcome Wasps Coach Pam Hesson to netball training who coached a really enjoyable and challenging session for our Year 7, 8 and 9 netballers. We look forward to having more coaching sessions with Pam over the course of the coming weeks.
