A Showcase of Musical Excellence

Musicians from the Senior School have been preparing a variety of ensemble and solo items for the Senior and Instrumental Ensembles Concert, our very first concert of this kind.
The event featured both concert repertoire and a selection of Christmas music with Keerat B, Lily M, Georgina D, Charis T and Shanya K all presenting solo performances of the highest quality. Zoha S, our student Head of Music, performed F. Dopplers Andante and Rondo for flute duet with her Flute teacher, Mrs Wilson.
The concert was an opportunity for many of the school’s chamber ensembles to perform and these were supported by Miss Smith, Mr Skilbeck, Mr Southall and Mrs O’Malley. We ended the event with a rousing rendition of ‘All I want for Christmas’ by the Senior Choir supported by Epper X on drums and Samara K as soloist.
Once again, my sincere thanks to the entire Music Department for making these events possible. Our incredible teachers dedicate many hours of hard work to training and preparing students. Mr Berman was on hand to ensure that the lighting and sound was impeccable and that our pupils were both seen and heard.
