A Beautiful Day for D of E

With signs of spring on the horizon at last, the weekend brought with it some beautiful weather.
35 Year 10 girls took full advantage of a breezy but bright Sunday morning, successfully completing a trial walk towards their Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award, navigating their way on a 12K walk in the rolling Clent Hills.
Interest in the ever-popular Duke of Edinburgh scheme continues unabated, offering pupils the opportunity to develop practical abilities and teamwork, leadership and communication skills, as well as the chance to get out into the Great Outdoors.
Well done, girls!
