Teatime Treat

The girls in the Prep School relish the opportunity to perform and this week was the turn of our Year 3 and 4 girls who delighted us at the Teatime Concert on Thursday evening.
These termly events give girls who have lessons inside or out of school the opportunity to perform in a slightly less formal setting and to build their confidence.
We recently enjoyed the finals of the Prep Musician of the Year competition and this Teatime event gave many more girls the chance to perform with 28 girls choosing to play and sing their prepared pieces.
It was the first time performing for some, whilst others are more seasoned musicians. No matter their level of experience we enjoyed all of the 32 performances on piano, cello, guitar, violin, flute and voice.
We look forward to following the girls as they progress on their musical journey and thank the music teachers and parents who are nurturing the girls’ undoubted talents and skills.
A lovely end to a busy day for the audience.
