Congratulations to Year 6 Netball players who represented EHS Prep School across three netball matches against Blue Coat School on Wednesday afternoon.
The cold temperature and drizzly conditions did not dampen the teams’ spirit. At the end of the first quarter, the close score line showed that the six teams form both schools started off evenly matched; with two teams drawing and one with a very slight lead.
EHS settled into their roles and positions in a calm and composed manner and Mrs Sawyers was thrilled to see some courageous interceptions and strong passing.
At the final whistle all three EHS teams were victorious. The scores for each match were as follows: EHS 'A' WON 11 - 5; EHS 'B' WON 5-1; EHS 'C' WON 13-4. The smiles across everyone's faces proved how much the girls enjoyed their afternoon of sport.
