We welcomed everyone back to school, including the new girls who have joined us this term, with many happy new year wishes.
The girls were all very excited to see each other after the holiday break and have shared their holiday news and their plans and resolutions for the year ahead. The girls have also arrived back ready to work on their new topics this term. Year 2 girls have started this year working together on some enjoyable Mathematics activities and Year 6 are looking forward to learning the songs and dialogue for their production at the end of this term.
This week Year 1 girls have also visited the Town Hall and enjoyed a production of ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’.
The winter themed art work around school is also very appropriate with this recent cold spell of weather.
Next week we have a swimming gala, netball match, and visits to the Barber Institute to look forward to, and also our annual visit from Giles Abbott with a workshop for Year 3.
We look forward to welcoming parents to the many events we have this term.
