EHS is renowned for its unique and distinctive system of pastoral care and as such the pastoral well-being of students is always at the forefront of our minds.
Our programme of Pastoral Information evenings aimed at parents is now under way with the first session of the academic year being held last week. During this session, the Pastoral Team spoke to parents about the platforms used in school to ensure 360 degree communication exists between students, staff and parents.
Last week, Mrs Campbell Deputy Head Pastoral, and Ms Jones-Owen, Head of Year 7, hosted a session on ‘Friendships and Bullying’ which incorporated an introduction to the school-wide ‘Girls on Board’ scheme. This was followed by a Q & A session on keeping children technologically safe at home.
The Sixth Form Pastoral mentors have also launched their programme of events for KS3 starting with a fun activity session during one lunchtime this week, giving students an opportunity to get pastoral support from the older students.
