Towards the end of 2022, two musical events were planned to raise funds for the Pam Jelf Memorial Fund. The Pam Jelf Fund was established 25 years ago by Pam, a former Director of Music who sadly passed away.  It was her wish that the fund be set up in her name to support the musical education of girls at EHS.  This fund has been supporting our girls since and, thanks to continued fundraising efforts, will continue to assist our pupils long into the future.

A piano recital given by our Director of Music and his brother in October raised a total of £700 while the Cantoris Choir, directed and accompanied by former EHS Music Staff James Llewelyn Jones and Heather Howell, raised £580. This means that the Pam Jelf fund now stands at an impressive £2,338.26.

Further fundraising efforts are being discussed and these will be shared with the school community in due course. Well done and thank you to all the professional musicians who gave up their time and tremendous talents to entertain us and raise money for this superb cause.
