We were pleased to welcome our Year 6 girls back from their Netball Tour to Portsmouth at the weekend. We are sure that the additional netball practice will stand them in good stead for the Invitational Tournament next week on Wednesday when we are looking forward to hosting a number of other schools.

The weekend also provided an opportunity for parents to enjoy meeting up with each other as EHSPA hosted the Spring Ball.  This took place at the Park Regis hotel and the enjoyable evening was packed with good food, dancing, photo booth and lots of happy conversation.

On Monday morning, there was much to celebrate with an individual certificate for Alesha Spaulding for guitar skills, gym trophies for a first place for Aurelia Ehiogu and 10 personal best times and medals galore for Grace Moran gained at Stourbridge Swim Meet. We congratulated Aniya Sidhu, Anna Tughan, Anaya Murphy and Esme Pearce for taking part in Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat. There were independent learning certificates too for Ellise and Grace Eveleigh, Hana Aslam and Ciara Dodd.

Monday ended with congratulations too when girls from Years 3 and 4 and from our Strictly Dance Club joined girls from Senior School in an evening of dance.  The dances were full of energy and very powerful.  Well done to all staff and pupils on some stunning performances.

There was more energy on display on Wednesday morning, before the school day even began, when Priory Club ran a workshop for parents and girls to develop tennis skills. This was a follow-up activity to our recent assembly. We are very proud of our partnership with the Edgbaston Priory Club.

The end of the week has been just as busy with support of Sports Relief.

Next week we wish the girls taking LAMDA examinations good luck and we are sure that our girls will enjoy representing the school in the Invitational Netball Tournament and in the gala against Solihull.  We also look forward to welcoming parents to join us at Year 1 Open House and the Cranedale meeting on Wednesday and Reception parents on Friday.
