Lots of Spots for Children in Need

24 November 2023

In the Prep School the girls are always keen to contribute to the community and to support local, national and global charities.

Last Friday we joined thousands of people around the country to raise money for Children in Need, the well-known BBC charity which helps children across the UK. Our £340 was raised during a non-uniform day when the girls enjoyed wearing ‘lots of spots’, Pudsey and Blush outfits and ears and a range of bright colours.

There were many activities to enjoy too, from Nursery to Year 6. One of the favourite for the Prep pupils was spotting the Pudsey Bears that were hiding in the Prep School.

Reception girls also went on a Pudsey Bear Hunt in their outdoor classroom in Westbourne.  They each found two little bears hidden in the shrubs and stuck them together to make cute little finger puppets.  They returned back to the indoor classroom and enjoyed using them in role play activities.

Our next fund-raising efforts will be in support of Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
