Everyone Welcome at School Allotment

The Prep Gardening Club started up again just before Easter and we were pleased to see a good number of Year 5 girls in attendance. The girls are really enjoying their weekly meet ups and have planted lots of vegetables, including potatoes, tomatoes, broad beans, runner beans and chillis. This week they made herb and flower bouquets as well as harvesting some of the rhubarb - pictured below.
The club will be holding a 'working party' at the allotment on Sunday 19 June from 2pm- 5pm. If anyone is interested in joining, or would just like to come and take a look at our wonderful school allotment on that day please email Mrs Hobbs at hobbsl@edgbastonhigh.co.uk to express your interest.
