Year 13 Celebrate With Dress Up Week

Sixth Form

13 May 2022

Year 13 have enjoyed their final week in school before they head off on Study Leave before their A Level Examinations begin.

As is customary, students have thrown themselves into celebrating their final full week in lessons by dressing up with a different theme each day. We saw characters from the film 'Men in Black,' followed by characters from the world of Mario Kart, the 90s and Cops and Robbers. The final day of dress up week saw the girls donning their old school uniform, a much-loved EHS tradition.

Students also held their Leavers' Assembly on Wednesday, celebrating their time at EHS, and there was a special breakfast for the girls on their final day of formal lessons.

Mrs Smith, Acting Head of Year 13, said: 'The girls have created a party atmosphere around school this week, and really came together following a lot of perseverance with their assembly!

'We are so proud of our students. I'd like to wish all the girls lots of luck for their forthcoming exams and I hope they remember the lessons of Matt Haig's Truth Pixie as they continue to prepare for university!'
