Dickens' Adaptation Brought to Life

Year 8 enjoyed a fantastic performance of Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol' this week, in which three professional actors from Quantum Theatre delivered a rollicking, musical, witty adaptation of Dickens' original novella. The performance lasted for one hour, and Year 8 was transfixed by the immensely talented and at times moving characterisations; they had been studying Dickens' novella throughout the Autumn Term, so the chance to see the performance helped to consolidate their learning.
One student, Agatha Bassett, even got involved during the Fezziwig party scene, showing confidence and creative spontaneity. Well done, Year 8 - the actors commended you for being a great audience!
