Design & Technology Exhibition: Thursday 26 April 2018

On Thursday 26 April, our Design and Technology: Textiles examination students will be exhibiting their garments and prototypes in the new Hexagon to celebrate their achievements of this year. Features include:

Year 13 - Fabulous outerwear garments for their final A level coursework.

Year 12 - A take on the white blouse.

Year 11 - A colourful collection of coats for their GCSE D&T Textiles.

Year 10 - Worked with market leading Jutexpo on a ‘live-brief’ to create a shopping bag made out polyester which was produced with recycled plastic bottles. The bags have a dual purpose.

This event will also showcase a range of Textiles products made in Key Stage 3: Pyjamas made by Year 7, Cushions crafted by Year 8 and Bags with laser cut handles from Year 9. Canapés will be made and served by our GCSE Food and Nutrition students.

The event runs from 4.00 - 5.30pm. Tickets are priced at just £5.00 each and this will include a glass of bubbly on arrival.

Please note there will not be any tickets for sale on the door.

To order your tickets please complete the form below and return to the Bursary; payment can be by cheque (made payable to ‘Edgbaston High School’) cash, BACS or you can phone the Bursary to pay by card. But be quick - tickets will go fast and the last date to book is Friday 20 April 2018.

All proceeds will be donated to the charity ‘Guide Dogs for the Blind’.
