Dancers selected for prestigious performance opportunity

A Level Dance students Lucy, Imogen and Freya, have been working hard to develop their performance of contemporary trio, ‘Alexa, are you listening?’ The dance explores the conspiracy theory that smart devices, such as Alexa, are always listening to us, and challenges the girls’ physical and performance skills in a highly demanding way.
Some footage of the piece, during its creation process, was sent through to U.Dance, which is a prestigious performance opportunity. We are delighted to announce that the piece was selected by a panel to be performed at the West Midlands regional event on Sunday 29 March. They will participate in workshops and experience a professional technical rehearsal which culminates with their performance in the evening. Join me in wishing them the best of luck.
