Celebrating the Teatime Musical Magic of Years 3–6

Preparatory

06 June 2025

The final two Teatime Concerts of the academic year brought musical magic to the stage, as pupils in Years 3 & 4 (15 May) and Years 5 & 6 (22 May) treated us to a wonderful array of performances that highlighted the exceptional talent, confidence, and dedication of our young musicians.

Each concert was a celebration of poise and preparation, with girls performing with impressive assurance and musicality. From piano solos and vocal pieces to string ensembles and woodwind works, the variety of repertoire showcased the breadth of musical development taking place at EHS. The atmosphere was warm and supportive, with pupils encouraging each other and delighting in each other’s success; true reflections of our school values of Courage, Creativity and Excellence.

For some of our Year 6 pupils, this concert marked their final appearance in a Junior School Teatime Concert, but it certainly won’t be their last moment on stage. We look forward to seeing their talents flourish in the Senior School, where a wealth of exciting performance opportunities awaits.

These two concerts were a fitting finale to what has been a fabulous year of Teatime Concerts. We are so proud of all the girls who have taken part, often stepping outside their comfort zones to share their music with friends, family, and staff. Each performance exemplified what it means to be an EHS girl, resilient, ambitious, and ready to shine.

Congratulations to all our performers and thank you to the Music Department for inspiring such enthusiasm and excellence. Here's to more music-making next year!
